P D R (Plasticidad, Dureza, Resistencia)
Carlos Castillo desarrolló su propia técnica escultórica consistente en la no utilización de hornos o similares a altas temperaturas, comunes en la fundición o fraguado en las técnicas convencionales, tomando además, cómo elementos sustanciales en su gran mayoría, tierras u orgánicos que, en lo posible, favorecen la conservación y protección del planeta.
Bajo esa premisa, el artista adquirió mediante su PDR no solo una alternativa escultórica revolucionaria, actual, futurista y 'bio' desde todo punto de vista, sino de gran importancia a nivel plástico por su enorme aporte al arte latinoamericano, o siendo generosos con su merecido reconocimiento, al arte universal...

Carlos Castillo developed his own sculptural technique in the non-use of furnaces or similar at high temperatures, common in foundry or set in conventional sculping techniques, taking the substantial elements from soil and organics that favor the conservation and protection of the environment, alarmingly threatened nowadays.
Under this premise, the artist acquired through his PDR not only a revolutionary sculptural alternative, modern, futuristic and 'bio' from every point of view, but of great importance on a plastic level for his generous contribution to Latin American and universal art...
